Kevin graduated from the University of Sydney in 1995 and commenced his career as a physiotherapist for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) in the Australian Army. During this time Kevin was awarded an Australian Active Service Medal and became the highest ranking and most decorated physiotherapist in the ADF. The highlight of his career was as the chief physiotherapist in East Timor with INTERFET in 1999-2000.

After moving to Albury in 2001, Kevin joined Flex Out Physiotherapy and became the sole principal in 2002. During this time Kevin has successfully steered Flex Out Physiotherapy from a one-person vision, to a multi-clinic organisation with ten clinics across four states. Kevin’s philosophy of long consultation times, one-on-one interactions and a focus on ‘hands-on’ manual therapy techniques has been fundamentally important in the success of the business over the past 20+ years.

Kevin has worked with many Australian teams including Athletics Australia, Volleyball Australia, Rowing Australia and Triathlon Australia. He is also dry needling accredited and has a special interest in sports physiotherapy, occupational health physiotherapy and lower limb injuries.

Ben joined the Flex Out team in 2017 after graduating from the University of Canberra in 2016. In his first couple of years as a Physiotherapist, Ben has gained experience working with a wide variety of populations. He has spent the large majority of his time in private practice, where he has been exposed to areas such as sporting rehabilitation, osteo-arthritis management, chronic lower back pain management, pre/post-operative rehabilitation and falls prevention.

Ben represents the Belconnen Magpies in the local AFL Canberra competition, and has worked as a sports trainer for local sporting teams over the past 5 years. With his experiences being both a player and a clinician, Ben fully understands what is required to make a successful return to sport following an injury.

Ben has also done further professional training in areas of knee/hip osteoarthritis management, and has strong interests in lower back pain and shoulder injury management. He uses a combination of education, manual therapy, and targeted exercise prescription to empower his clients to reach their goals and make a full return to function.

Lindsay graduated in 2009 from Brock University in Canada with her Bachelor of Science (Health Sciences). In 2013 she completed her Masters of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Canberra. Lindsay spent the first two years of her physiotherapy career managing the physiotherapy department of an aged care facility, where her practice was focused mainly on pain management, neurological and joint replacement rehabilitation, and falls prevention.

In early 2016, Lindsay began work at Flex Out Physiotherapy, where she treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.She has developed a special interest in paediatric physiotherapy.

Mitchell graduated from Charles Sturt University’s Orange campus in 2014, then returned home to Canberra to commence working in both sporting and musculoskeletal fields. In his first year of practice, Mitchell was exposed to a wide variety of conditions and clients ranging from high levels athletes, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation clients, to non-active population.

Given Mitchell is a competitive and representative athlete himself, his special interests have been directed towards sporting injuries, in particular shoulder and lower limb injuries, as well as back pain. Mitchell utilises biomechanical correction, exercise prescription and various other evidence based practices to get athletes back to their sporting pursuits as quickly as possible. Outside of work Mitchell has played and worked in rugby union and many other sports, although is currently focused on his true love – basketball.

Sarah graduated from the University of Sydney in 2006 and has worked in a variety of sports and musculoskeletal private practices around Australia. She has recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy and is in the final stages of completing her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. Sarah has experience across a wide range of sports including waterpolo, football, rugby, swimming, rowing and gymnastics. She has a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of hip, groin and lumbo-pelvic dysfunction, whether it be in the elite athlete or weekend warrior.

Since this time she has worked in private practice clinics in Darwin and Wollongong, before joining Flex Out Physiotherapy in 2016. Over this time, Tracy has built up a broad knowledge of musculoskeletal presentations and gained experience working with sporting communities including AFL, netball and tennis. Tracy also has a particular interest in Women’s Health including pelvic floor rehabilitation, management of incontinence along with ante and post-natal management. Tracy is trained in dry needling and clinical pilates, completing levels 1 and 2 with DMA. Outside of work Tracy has a running background and now competes in triathlon. Tracy has a specialist interest in treating runners, triathletes and sports specific injuries along with post-natal women who want to return to exercise and running.

Victoria has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Masters of Physiotherapy. She is also an Accredited Hand Therapist and member of Women’s Health Training Associates. She started practicing as an Occupational Therapist in 2009 and has over a wealth of experience working in private practice physiotherapy specialising in hand therapy and women’s health. Before this she worked in rehabilitation and acute care in the Canberra Hospital.

As an accredited hand therapist Victoria is skilled in hand and upper limb rehabilitation including casting, static and dynamic splinting, scar and pain management. In addition to her clinical role Victoria is the Australian Hand Therapy Association ACT divisional coordinator  which involves organising AHTA professional development meetings for local Hand therapist’s.

As a member of the Women’s Health Training Associates, Victoria is skilled in women’s health pelvic floor, continence, pelvic pain and pre and postnatal assessment. Treatment including pessary fitting, pelvic floor retraining, pelvic pain management, continence retraining and mat work pilates.

Daniel joins the Flex Out Physiotherapy team after completing a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation at the University of Canberra in 2018. Daniel is passionate about helping people incorporate exercise in their lives whether they be an experienced athlete or weekend warrior. He can assist in helping you participate in regular exercise to compliment life and improve health.

Daniel’s area of interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic disease management, persistent pain and strength & conditioning. Daniel enjoys exercising in his spare time particularly playing cricket, soccer and running and is an avid fan of all ball sports.
