• Member Australian Physiotherapy Association
Sarah grew up on a hobby farm in North East Victoria, and graduated from school in 2010. Prior to Physiotherapy, she worked in pharmacies in Melbourne and Benalla while studying other courses, before moving to Albury to study Physiotherapy in 2014 as a mature-age student. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2017 from Charles Sturt University. Owing to her placements, she has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy, inpatient rehabilitation, cardio-respiratory care, lymphoedema, and aged care.
Sarah learnt a great deal from undertaking work experience and shadowing of senior clinicians throughout her 4 years at University, as well as through participation in the Flex Out Internship program in her fourth year.
Sarah has also completed the Level 1 Sports Trainer course, and represented Flex Out Physiotherapy as a trainer at the 2018 Deaf Games in Albury-Wodonga. Sarah has a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries and management, particularly in the lower limb.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys playing netball, going to the gym, running, baking and spending time with her family and friends. She hopes to one day complete a half marathon, and travel around Australia.
