• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)
Jye graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) and has relocated to Albury from Brisbane in 2021.
He has focussed his career on Hand and Upper limb therapy in a variety of clinical practices and settings (in-home, inpatient, surgeon and GP clinics). He is also an Accredited Hand Therapist (as awarded by the AHTA) and is working towards becoming internationally recognised by undertaking a Certified Hand Therapist exam in the next 1-2 years. He is also an OT Driving Assessor, which entails assessing someone’s medical fitness to drive, evaluating medical conditions or disabilities in order to drive safely, independently, legally and to identify if driver or public safety may be compromised.
Jye’s background prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist includes serving 5 years in the Australian Army and previously deploying to Baghdad, Iraq in 2010. Jye is also an avid Hawthorn Hawks member and snowboarder.
